What might be the reason behind the recent continuation of bleeding after 10-12 days of regular menstruation cycle in a 40+ old unmarried sister of my roommate who is a patient of hypertension (i.e bp 140/90 mm hg), kidney stone and non-bleed piles also. Is it common in a patient of above said diseases/problems or is it a symptom of any other serious disease? Please help.

No, it is not related. There might be some hormonal imbalance which can lead to disturbed menstrual periods. She should also adapt a very healthy and balanced lifestyle (proper diet, daily exercise and stress management can be very beneficial and reduce the need for medications in the long term. She can also go for a detailed examination (visit a gynecologist) and do some tests like - cbc, esr, blood sugar, thyroid tests, urine routine etc. She can also take homeopathy which is very effective in treating menstrual problems (irregularities) as well as healing all the symptoms holistically. She can contact me for a private consultation.
