Hi, Recently quit 10 years of pain-masala/tobacco addiction (quit 40-50 days back). It is a blanket ban post quitting. Indulging on sauf/cloves thereon, have some concerns that do cloves inhibit the jaw/mouth movement (same effect as of tobacco), or encourage leukoplakia?

No clove doesn't have similar effect but giving rest to your mouth is a good option my kidos to you for kicking the bad habit.
Cloves don't inhibit jaw movement. You may have oral submucous fibrosis. Kindly get it checked by dentist. The thick fibrotic bands don't let mouth open wide. Have a clinical assessment done first.
No. Cloves will not inhibit the jaw/mouth movement (same effect as of tobacco) or encourage leukoplakia.
