I am not able to sleep early .i don't fall asleep. Please give some tips to maintain sleep cycle.

Hi Mr. lybrate-user, for getting better sleep, I would suggest you to maintain proper sleep timings, like sleeping and getting up at particular timings daily. Make sure that your room is dark while you go to bed. Practice exercising/walking/jogging daily along with 15-20 minute meditation and breathing exercises. Simultaneously practice a simple tip of counting from 100 to zero backwards, when you go to bed. These suggestions have helped many of my patients and I am sure you will benifit by following these suggestions. If the problem persists even after following these, consult a doctor for some remedial treatment.
