I'm a 32 year female. I'm pregnant with twins and currently i'm running 20th week of pregnancy. In my latest ultrasound report done at 20+5 days it was found out that the length of the cervix is 26 mm and the doctor has advised for cerclage. I'm currently having susten sr 200 and duphaston 10 mg, both twice a day my questions are - 1. Is it really necessary and does it reduce the chances of pre term labour and preemies? 2. What are the risks involved and percentage of risk? 3. What is the cost of the procedure?
