Dear patient, hepatitis e is a virus that infects the liver. However, unlike other forms of hepatitis, hepatitis e virus does not lead to damage to the disease or severe liver for a long time, and most people recover within a few months. Hepatitis e is a waterborne disease and its widespread outbreak is the supply of contaminated water or food. Prevention: drink boiled water or pure water only. Avoid raw or unleashed food items. Eat food immediately cooked. Use only after washing fruits, vegetables and shellfish with water. Wash hands with soap after defecation. Good hygiene and often hand washing are important to avoid hepatitis.
