Dear Sir, It appears that you are suffering from xerostomia related to old age. Saliva production reduces at night and is stimulated as we put anything in mouth. Amlodipine itself has little role in xerostomia but does cause gum enlargement in some patients. Antidepressants are known to cause xerostomia which as per you history, are not taken by you. Mouth breathing can also lead to symptoms similar to yours, pls ask your family members to check it whether you breathe by mouth while sleeping or not. To improve your condition you can increase your water intake. Thanks & healing regards.
