I am 63 years old, and am a diabetic for over twenty years. Do not visit doctors frequently. But taking the same medicine - geminor m 2 (metformin hydrochloride prolonged release & glimepiride) and tenepride m 500 (teneligliptin & metformin hydrochloride tables 20 mg + 500 mg) - twice daily. Please advise whether these are ok.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. There is no mention of fasting, pp glucose values, hba1c%, present dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, weight and height, plus bp readings and lipid profile. To give any kind of suggestion or advise I need to know all the above details. When diabetes is well controlled fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, pp 160 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.8. Thanks.
