My son is 7 years old, with repeated episodes of throat infections, fever and swollen tonsils. He has been mouth breathing throughout night and at times during day. His catching cold and prone to infections are getting increased. Is there a need to do tonsillectomy? Or should we wait. Ps.he had 5 episodes of fever due to throat infection last year alone. This year he was infected already once. Please suggest what should be done.
