Sir, I am 37 no alcoholic no smoker I was suffering by hypothyroid from 6 month my tsh was 0.005 then doctor put me on 40 mg mercazole with 80 mg betacap after four months treated my tsh became 93 so my doctor close dose for 5 days then decrease to 10 mg mercazole has been started and beta cap comes 40 mg but few day after I feel pain in left arm I go for doctor he suggested again tsh report this time it got normal my doctor decrease dose 5 mg and beta cap 40 mg stop. 13 days after I feel fast beat over 100 doctor started 40 mg beta cap again but now 15 day after I feel palpitations continue 10 to 15 minutes and irregular miss heartbeat doctor suggested keep 80 mg beta. Cap guide me.

Hi, you appear to be suffering with "hyperthyroidism" rather than "hypothyroidism" palpitations and increased heart rate are sypmtoms of hyperthyroidism as well as anxiety disorders. In case your thyroid profile is normal, consultation with a psychiatrist can be helpful.
