I am 47 years old male. I am taking medicine (feburic 40) for uric acid for 3 years. When I take medicine regularly for couple of weeks (6-8 weeks), my uric acid level goes down below 3. When I stop taking medicine it again goes up to 7 after 3-4 months. Should I continue the medicine or stop it. One doctor says it should be taken regularly with low mg, while another doctor says it should taken temporarily for a month only when it is high. What should I do?
