Hi, Trinicalm plus has been used in women who are pregnant and has been found to be safe during pregnancy and breast feeding. Quitipine is a relatively newer drug and though we do not have a lot of data, it had been found to be safe in pregnancy. You doctor had rightly stopped divalproate which can adversely affect the baby. Any medication that is taken during pregnancy, especially in the first 3 months cause a slight increase in the risk of it affecting the Baby. However, you need to weigh the risks and Benefits of using the medication. If you decide to stop the medicine, the chance of you relapsing and getting an episode during pregnancy is quite high and it will cause more damage to the baby. So, I highly recommend that you continue with the medication and if you have any concerns please talk to your psychiatrist about it.
