My eyes feel tired n strained in the morning. I work constantly in front of computer screen. I am able to. Read the chart clearly at the eye test. However sometimes I have to strain eyes to read long distance boards n people. Recently I checked my eyes at the shop, they recommended me to wear -0.5.I never wore glasses before but suddenly I have got eye power. What to do to reduce it.

Hi Lybrate user, Constant work on computer always creates strain on eye's. Also it causes computer vision syndrome, in which eye power gets reduced. Follow few tips to avoid this- - keep more than 20 inches distance between screan &eyes - blink eyes frequently while working on computer. - do eye exercise dialy - start using computer specs. Eye exercises will improve eye sight. Also start using Triphala churna 3gm daily with warm water after meal. Triphala is best netrya drug (tonic for eyes) in ayurveda. Also eat carrot for vitamin A & cashew, almonds for better vision.
