I am 18 weeks pregnant with identical twins (MONO DI). Doctor says that one of the babies has very less fluid around him and limited blood supply as the umbilical cord is towards the end of the placenta. As of now there is 27% growth difference between both the babies. He doubts it is first stage if TTTS and has to be operated by laser surgery or radiofrequency. He also says there are only 50-50% chance that they will be able to save both the babies and there main attempt will be to save one baby at least. How far is this true. Is there any means of saving both my babies with laser surgery. If yes, what and who is the best doctor who can do the same.
