Hello lybrate-user, it is not clear which part of the body is affected and the medications you took. Was the fungal infection confirmed with investigations and whether its recurrence or just persistence of initial infection which has not been treated appropriately. There need to a few general precautions which you can take but you will need a specialist opinion. Use your separate towels, clothes and sandals (not shared with others). Keep the inguinal and the interdigital area (space between toes) dry and clean with use of antifungal dusting powders. Hope that helps.
