25 y/o female, bottom right wisdom tooth with hole in it after cavity got out of hand. No pus or drainage, but severe pain off and on throughout the day. Pulp under tooth is visible. Lymph nodes are not swollen/ no tenderness. Grind teeth/ hard clenching of jaw at night with no mouth guard. No fever has shown. No swelling. What are the chances of this being an abscess or of having staphylococcus? Awaiting health insurance card in the mail. Thanks a bunch for your help! :)
