I am 25 years female, I was taking fresh amla (Indian gooseberry) juice diluted with water on an empty stomach from 15-20 days, now since 4-5 days I am experiencing acidity and heartburn which increases after meals specially, abdominal pain (upper) at times and a little gastric and constipation, I did?t eat anything out since many days, I am also burping too much these days, is it because of the acidic nature of amala juice.

Amla is a rich source of vitamin C, which contributes to the acidic nature of the fruit. While amla is often prescribed to be ingested on empty stomach for detoxification purposes, this might actually upset your stomach, triggering acidity.
