My wife is 26 week pregnant. Everything is normal except itching and rashes. Doctor suggest her udinol 300 daily along with other regular medicine (richer CR, cc74, cor3,duvadilan. We checked in internet that udinol 300 is for jaundice. Is it okay to take that medicine or we should consult doctor one more time.

Hi, in pregnancy there is a condition called cholestasis which occurs due to pregnancy hormones where women will have excess itching all over body. If other causes of itching is not there, then the gynecologist will prescribe this medication. Which will reduce the itching caused due to hormonal changes.
