I used to take Microgynon 30 as an oral contraceptive and as a treatment for PCOS. However, this was in the UK and as I couldn't get the same in India, I was prescribed Diane 35, in September 2016, but this led to severe infections. I was treated for the infections with oral antibiotics and a suppository on 3 separate occasions, after a discussion with my doctor, I went off the medication for 3 months, between Oct 2017 and Jan 2018, to see if that was the cause of the problem and the infections stopped recurring. Consequently, the medication was changed from Diane 35 to Krimson 35, and the infections came back. Fed-up of the antibiotics and not getting a permanent solution, I began using Clotrimazole/Candida cream and powder on days when the symptoms were really bad. In August, I contracted typhoid and was hospitalized, after that the yeast/fungal infection disappeared and I assumed that I had finally found relief. However, the symptoms of the infection returned about 2 days ago. I really want a solution to this problem. I'd preferably like to remain on an oral contraceptive and would like to know if the issue could be something else.
