I use to smoke cigarettes 1 or 2 in a day from last 2 months .how could I stop my this habit.

Dear lybrateuser, - It is a good decision you have made to quit smoking - fix a date on which you will completely give up your habit - remove all the articles associated with it like cigarettes, lighter, ash tray etc from the house or wherever you keep them so that they are completely out of your reach when urge is there - tell your friends about your decision so that they don't coax you to have one - keep your mind busy in various activities like your studies, exercise, music so that you don't think about it & the urge is not there - chew a sugarless gum if urge is there & if still uncontrollable then use a nicotine gum or lozenges to control the urge.
