My leg has swelling near ankle where I get too much pain on walking. Can you please tell the reason for it.

This could be plantar fascitis. Plantar fasciitis is thickening of the plantar fascia, a band of tissue running underneath the sole of the foot. Try the following methods: rest your feet. Wear supportive footwear. Use ice on your heel. Take ibuprofen (such as advil or motrin), naproxen (such as aleve), or another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) to reduce pain and inflammation. Wear night splints. Do stretching and strengthening exercises.
