I am 18 weeks pregnant women. Last week I had cervix cerclage due to amniotic fluid leakage. My doctor advised to take rest for 3-4 days. Now after 7 days of cerclage today I feel the water leaking. Is it possible to leak amniotic fluid after taking stitches.

Cervical encirclage is done in cases of short incompetent cervix that is weak to withhold baby. Little amount of leak is common. For that complete bed rest, antibiotics to prevent infection in baby, drink lots of fluid, have repeat scan to see liqour of baby. If you are leaking heavily, that means your membrane got ruptured. Connect your gynecologist immediately in that case. Have a healthy pregnancy.
