I was advised to take concor 2.5 and losacar 50 mg as my diastole was around 90-95 while systole was 120-30. That was 12 years ago. I am 45 now, 98 Kgs. (5 feet, 10 inches) and my B.P is 125/78 while sitting or 119/70 while lying down. Should I continue with this as I am worried about the long term side effects of this medicine. They recently found that I had slightly fatty liver (don't drink alcohol at all). The ultrasound revealed that it's in very very nascent stage though. Was advised to lose weight, eat lesser and do some exercises. I am doing as much as I can. Please advise a safer medicine.
