I am anil, 32 years of age (male), struggling with one pain for last 3 years. It started after my gym of 6 months wherein I used to run over treadmill a lot. After 6 months I started having pain in my right knee (lower right side). I went through MRI couple of times and diagnosed with a 0.6 mm cyst on my knee joint. I consulted 3 doctors after that and everybody suggested to have no action unless the pain turned severe. Pain usually happens once in 4 months when stress increases on my knee. And it becomes really changing to spare one week I.e the usual time the pain takes to settle down. Recently one doctor suggested me a ultrasound guided aspiration treatment for this cyst or a surgery. However really not sure which way to proceed further. I am a sports lover and planning to resume my running exercise which is not feasible with this cyst. Please suggest.
