My 25 day old has been crying on and off since morning. He is not sleeping much today. He is exclusively breastfed. He is not latching long today. He latches and leaves and cries. What can be the reason and what should I do?

Hi, Neonates cry continuously for the following reasons - due to colicky pain, or insufficient feeds, or nappy rashes or ear pain, etc. Check out whether you have enough secretion of milk. If yes, then extract it manually into a small cup and feed it to the child with a small spoon carefully. Give 4-6drops of Colicarmin drops twice daily. Make sure the child is burped after every feed.
