I SUFFERED BRAIN STROKE 1.5 year ago which caused my left body paralytic though I have recovered to the large extent except movement in my fingers. Since the stroke, I am having very strained relationships with my wife and two small kids. I am not able to leave them due to circumstances in which I am trapped. I am damn lonely and suffering from Anxiety and depression as I feel nobody wants to me. I know cure of my problem if somebody love me unconditionally. What should I do.

Dear Lybrate user, I can understand how badly you are affected by your present condition. But I think you are over estimating that you are being rejected by your kith and kin. This attitude will lead you to poor self esteem and automatically you start reject yourself and to worsening of your physical problem. You do need counseling at first and there are a number of treatment methods both in modern medicine and alternative medicines. Don't loose heart, since you are young, the chances of rehabilitation and back to normal life is bright.
