I am 21 years old and have joined gym I am recommended to take amino acids &mass gainers as supplements by my trainer along with diet, my aunt suggested me to take whey protein instead of these my uncle already got whey protein from US, I want to know what is the actual use ,purpose&benefits of whey protein for gym goers. Is it good or beneficial if I take whey protein.

In addition it also helps to satisfy the calorific requirement of the body which otherwise would have been met by carbs or fat. So it also helps in fat loss indirectly.
