Hello Doctor, On 8th July I had unprotected sex with my partner and within 6 hours I took an I pill and my periods were due on 12 July. On 18 July, I started to bleed for 3 days and I really don?t know whether it was withdrawal bleeding or normal periods. My next periods were on 12th August and I checked so many times, my pregnancy test is negative and even my urine test also says it?s negative. Then please help me. Why I am not getting my normal periods. When they will be back because I get cramps but no periods yet. Please help.

Hi lybrate-user, bleeding is bleeding, irrespective of withdrawal or periods. And it rules out pregnancy. The delay this cycle can also be due to anxiety. If you are having cramps, it means the periods are due. Do wait a week more.
