Hello sir, I am 31 years old guy. I underwent surgery for testicular torsion in September 2017. In Jan 2018 I got infection of mumps and I again felt pain in right testis, so I again approached to surgeon, he observed with sonography and told me that it's an infection only and suggested some antibiotics with vitamin C supplements tablets. After some time of mumps, I felt weakness in erection, I again consulted with same surgeon and he suggested me for testosterone hormones. I took two dose of injections, although erection recovered but not in that manner as it was before. After some time I gave my semen sample to pathology lab and they replied with azoospermia. I again consulted with other surgeon n he suggested me for sonography. 5D sonography was done, n results showed normal shape, size n vascularity. Than doctor asked me for FNAC for right testis. But the doctor engaged in FNAC told me that she tried twice for FNAC sample, but there was no sample available due to fibrosis testis. Now my surgeon is suggesting for biopsy of right testis. Is this will be helpful for me to recover sperm, or is there some other method to get healthy sperm at least once. Kindly suggest.

Hello- You have gone through a wrong treatment after your testicular torsion surgery. Mumps infection causes testicular swelling so it affects the testicular function so you faced weak erection afterwards. To make it worse, your surgeon suggested you to go for testosterone injections which is highly unsafe if having a history of any testicular pathology (which you had). These synthetic testosterone injections causes testicular shrinkage in this condition so your erection got even worse. Now he is asking you for FNAC. I strongly recommend you to change your doctor and take a second opinion. Go for a ayurvedic doctor this time as only he can solve your issue.
