Hi lybrate-user The Iron tablets had nothing to do with weight gain. All the other issues you are facing, like scanty/prolonged bleeding, tiredness, weakness etc can a;; be attributed to the weight gain. Please make an effort to lose weight. There are no shortcuts. Eating sensibly, and exercising is the only way to lose weight and keep it off. This needs to be a lifestyle change, and not just a temporary effort to lose weight. It is going to take time. Maybe 2-4 years, but CONSISTENCY is the key. Do send me personal message for personalized advice.
