I am under treatment for hypothyroidism for last one year. Currently taking Thyronorm 50 mcg Since last 2 weeks having chest discomfort and palpitations throughout the day. Before taking 50 mcg TSH was 8. Today checked the TSH and is 1.79 My next appointment is after 2 months. Do I need an immediate dose reduction or discontinuation of Thyronorm. BP also remains high @155/110 to 135/95 despite taking nebivolol, Cilnidipine and Telmisartan. Male 48.

You need to review your case with your doctor (for a through clinical evaluation and some tests) to help manage your high BP. It needs to be analysed with a fresh perspective. Please try to change your lifestyle (add Yoga into daily routine) which can help natural healing. You can also take Homeopathy which can help to restore harmony. You can contact me for a private consultation with all the previous and present reports.
