There are no disadvantages for married couples having same blood group. If you are A+ and your husband is A+ also then according to genetic principles the baby born will have the same blood group as A+ and thus no complications shall arise out of it. In cases where mother bear a blood group with Rh -ve antigen and the father Rh +antigen then complications may arise because the baby inside Rh -ve mother may be Rh +ve due to carrying fathers genetic group. If you're Rh negative and your baby is Rh positive, your body might produce proteins called Rh antibodies after exposure to the baby's red blood cells. The antibodies produced aren't a problem during the first pregnancy. The concern is with your next pregnancy. Good luck.
