Hello sir, I am 30 years old man. I had unprotected sex with prostitute in June 2017, after 6 months in December I did Anti I and II method E.L.I.S.A. And tests were negative. Now one year has completed. Do I need to do the test again for confirmation? I am loosing my weight and feeling tired, are these signs of HIV? I am very frightening, please guide me. I want to confirm, do I have any sex related disease because of that unprotected sexual intercourse with prostitute last year? What are the tests should I do? Is there is any possibility of HIV? Please guide me. It will be a very big help. Thank you.

Dear lybrate-user, if you have not had unprotected sex after june 2017 and you have tested negative for HIV I & II ELISA (4th Generation) test in Dec 2017, then there is almost NIL possibility that you might be suffering from HIV. For evaluation of other STDs and your current complains I will need more information.
