I am a 37 years old women. I'm suffering from severe sun burn on my Face, where the skin turns black, itchy and then peels off becoming White colour. I have this issue from the time I was in my 19/20 yrs. After application of topical creams. Some patches have disappeared, but others have been for nearly 14/15 yrs. I have it on my lips also. Pls advice. Can I go for laser treatment for stubborn patches, like my lips. If so, how much would it cost approximately.

Mild sunburn usually lasts 3-5 days. Moderate or severe sunburn usually lasts at least several days longer. The effects of each episode of this radiation damage, however, are long lasting. Each sunburn increases the risk of early wrinkles, premature aging, senile skin lesions, and skin cancers. 1. Put a cold, damp towel on your skin. 2. Use a moisturizer that contains aloe vera or soy to help soothe sunburned skin. 3. Drink extra water. 4. Avoid tight clothing. 5. Relax with tall glasses of tomato juice until your sunburn is resolved. Better still; enjoy your favorite Mexican Chili or other tomato sauce based dishes. Tomatoes cooked with oil have more lycopene in the absorbable form. 6. Take a mature leaf and remove the tough outer skin. Blend it to a paste and apply liberally over the affected area, taking care not to burst any blisters. Leave it on as long as you can. Reapply frequently.
