Sir I have been given a remedial in police force for high pulse rate. My doctor has advice me to take betablocker like propranolol to get normal pulse rate. Bt the problem is that after manual examination of pulse rate it is followed by a blood test to test whether the candidate has taken a betablocker. So you tell me please whether a single dose of betablocker can be detected in blood test? Though I am not a regular user of betablocker. Bt I hv to take this Medicine before my examination because due to anxiety my pulse rate increases.
