I am about to reach my 40 weeks of pregnancy. When I visited the gynaecologist today for routine check-up, My gynaecologist told me to take 60 ml of castor oil (in one intake) after 2 days with 1 glass of milk. I have heard that such big amount of castor oil is dangerous for mother and child both. Is it safe for me and my child at this stage, for inducing labor? Kindly suggest.
