Hi, I am a senior citizen and was undergoing neck from an ayurvedic doctor in Mumbai, where after the medicated oil, the lady (not doctor) who was performing the neck on me, asked me to inhale some smoke coming from some burning herbs. It was very suffocating and I informed her that I am allergic to smoke, so she stopped afterwards. Now what I would like to know is, 1) Is doctor suppose to be present in the clinic or not? There was nobody else apart from two of us. I learnt that he won't be coming for 4 days. Then is it correct to continue treatment in doctors absence? 2) When I informed doctor about smoke issue, (i had almost fainted outside the clinic due to suffocation, my eyesight was also blurred and the lady had left immediately without waiting to check if I needed any help.), he flatly refused, saying that there is nothing like allergy in Ayurveda. Is it true?
