Nothing to worry. Yest she has got done scaling so it will take time before the effects r seen. In next 3-4 days the bleeding will reduce. After that for further treatment get a full mouth X-ray done n then show it to a Periodontist. Hes a specialist to handle such cases.
Go for subgingival scalling.
It's a good thing that your mother got the scaling and cleaning done now wait for few days for its effect to take place .if the bleeding doesn't stop then Deep gingival curettage and maybe a flap surgery is required for elimination of deep pockets .don't worry it's completely normal to experience bleeding even after getting the scaling done ,as she got the scaling done for the first time. A good clinician should be enough to diagnose if another sitting of scaling is needed or deep gingival curettage is needed.

She might have bleeding gums. Kindly use hexidine mouthwash.
