My neck ultrasound shows that there is a swelling in my thyroid but all my thyroid tests including tpo test is completely normal. Endocrinologist has suggested that no treatment can be done. But my neck is visibly swollen. What can be the possible cause.

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Since the endocrinologist has already told you that there is no problem with thyroid function, there is nothing that can be done. You wait for a few months get the gland checked again, then further treatment if required can be given. It is difficult to say why the condition has developed. Thanks.
