Hi, Couple days back while playing badminton my knee got injured. As my ligament injury (intrasubstance tears involving ACL ). Please suggest me whether I have to under go surgery or not. Points in my report -Intrasubstance tear involving anterior cruciate ligament. - Complete tear involving body of lateral meniscus. Horizontal tear involving posterior horn of lateral meniscus. -Laxity involving lateral collateral ligament with non clear appearance in lower segment possibly representing tear of the ligament.

Yes you need surgery for ACL, meniscus repair and possibly for the lateral collateral ligament as well.
