I suffer from urinary tract infection very frequently. I drink around 12 to 15 glasses of water daily, but a slight reduction in water intake (say by 2 to 3 glasses), immediately results into UTI. Also a little stress, leads to UTI. I am 64 years of age, otherwise having a very healthy and active disciplined life. I would request for suggestion of some remedy to this. It is likely that when I am out of the house, I am not able to consume enough water, (though I carry 2 1/2 glasses with me, is not sufficient always). Kindly recommend some medicine for such times. I get cured by intake of 2 to 3 dozes of 2 tbsp each of Apple cider vinegar (with mother), depending on the acuteness of the infection. Is there a need to consult a Urologist? What would be the tests before going to him/her? What sort of cost would visiting a Urologist and the TESTS be incurred? I stay in Mumbai, India. Thank you.
