I have severe COPD. The Dr. treating me has advised LTOT at 2 ltrs per min for 15 to 16 hrs a day. My saturation level is usually between 88-92%. I am told with this kind of saturation level I really don't need LTOT as it leads to CO2 retention in the body which is harmful. This has left me thoroughly confused. Please advise suitably.
