My left ear hearing is loss 102% according to test this happen 9 years ago due to mumps in with I loss my hearing now the problem is whenever I got cold my left ear feels heavy not vertigo but heavy ness or some heavy rounding sensation doctor prescribed me sturgeon tablet its help me I had only one tab what does it means I have meniere diseases?

Vertigo and tinnitus is absent and so we can?t label it as meniere disease

Meniere disease cause fluctuation of hearing loss, balance also it’s can cause tinnitus. It can affect either one or both ears. You make consult with ENT and follow diet Reduce salt.

Hi, Lybrate user, as per your description you may be having Sensorineural hearing loss in your left ear. What happens in cold is due to middle ear infection. Actually due to cold sometimes it leads to middle ear infection, due to which you may feel blocking sensation as well as slight pain also. So better to see an ENT specialist. Thanks.
