I am 19 years old and I have a heart valve problem. No other complications. Can I do compound exercises in the gym like weight lifting etc. Chest press etc will cause any problems for me.

Exercises increase the cardiac load as a result heart has to increase the function to maintain demand and supply. So it would be safe if you avoid such exercises.
