My kid is 5.5 months old. He had blocked tear ducts when he was born but that was corrected by massage at 3-4 months. Now he has swelling under his eyes and he frequently rub his eyes and shows discomfort. I consulted a doctor she said the baby has cylindrical 2-3 number and at the age of 1 year glasses will be given him. Can please suggest if this is possible to identify number for such a small kid?

Using modern devices it is possible to observe powers in newborns Visually evoked response testing. These are tests that stimulate the eyes with either a bright light or special pattern. The infant is connected to a special monitor with attachments on the infant's head. The machine then records electrical activity in the brain as the lights and patterns are shown to infants.
