I am 19 weeks pregnant. My level 2 USG says there is minor swelling in both the kidneys of fetus. amniotic fluid is though adequate. Is there anything to worry? Please suggest.

Swelling in fetal kidneys (Renal pelviectasis). Seen in 2nd trimester resolves by itself in 97% of cases by 3rd trimester, get a repeat ultrasound done by 34-36 weeks. If swelling still persists then ultrasound will be done after delivery and management decided accordingly. If it persists also it is 100% treatable.
