Renal Transplant recipient in 2006 Recently started having problems and s.creatine rose to 8.2, urea 100. No dialysis presently. Is stem cell therapy available for patients like me? Want to avoid second transplant.

Hi Lybrate user. I hope that you must have been following a nephrologist and all reversible causes must have been evaluated. If there is no reversible cause then the only option that remains is either dialysis or kidney transplant. There is no proven benefit of stem cell therapy in renal failure.
