Dear Dr, I and my gf had sex on 4th March at around 2 pm. However the condom tore and the semen got inside. My gf gets her periods on 6th of every month. But she took an Unwanted 72 within 8 hours. Can she be pregnant? She has not found any spotting as of yet despite of having the Unwanted 72. How and when can she get to know that the ECP has worked?

Mostly unwanted 72 prevents pregnancy onlu occassionaly may fail. Her period date was also close to period so as such low chance of pregnancy. After such tablet one gets withdrawal bleeding 5-8 days later that means if period was expected soon gets delayed then cyclicity changes.
