I have itching/rash on my whole body mainly below the knee. As I am a type 2 diabetic, I was advised to use Diprovate S Plus ointment and was using it and is of a little help. One day no problem and later again the itching starts. Is there any remedial medicine for complete cure of this? Please advice me for which a great thanks ever to Lybrate. Regards, Janardhanan.

Itching rash indicates allergy to something and diabetes can make it worse. Local ointments like diprovate will give temporary relief simply because the cause is internal so it needs internal treatment. I suggest you go for homeopathic treatment which will help treat your rash and improve your immunity and thus overal health. Also wear loose cotton clothing. Avoid strong scented soaps or creams. Drink plenty of water. For more questions or treatment please feel free to contact me.
