Hii doctor. I am 20 year old boy. I am suffering from itching in groin. Firstly I thought it is temporary so I took a cream from local medical store name Clobeta GM. It was effective but for only for few days. After that itching starts again. I have tried so many things but it's not vanishing completely. I have also checked it with government and private both physician. They give some medicine, and again it is temporary effect. When I searched this thing on Internet it shows I have fungus itching, in which after itching a white layer of skin comes out. It has been a very big problem for me. Pls help me asap!

Clobeta gm is strong steroid and will destroy your skin. Stop using it and don't take treatment like this. Youy be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs, groin and buttocks area. It is also called jock itch. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter Steroid containing creams like fourderm, panderm, quadriderm, hh zole, candid b etc lead to repeated case of recurrence and also side effects due to application.
