Your knees start degenerating with increasing age. Get an x-ray done and consult an orthopaedic surgeon. If you also have pain in other joints such as finger, wrist, elbow with stiffness in morning get rheumatoid profile done else consult a rheumatologist. Meanwhile avoid sitting on ground and cross legged, avoid stair climbing and standing for prolonged period. No medications until you consult a doctor.
